Summer has arrived!
The warm weather has finally arrived, which is great news. All the plant life has suddenly started to grow very quickly - the meadows are awash with buttercups, and the summer plants are growing well.
Our orchard has a lot of apples appearing, so hoping for a good crop later in the year.
We have a lot of school visits, all ages, which is great. Everyone is having a lot of fun and also learning new facts.
We have a pair of mallards who seem at home on the pond (even when we pond dip!) so we may get some ducklings again. The fox is out and about often which causes much excitement when it is seen by the children.
Forest school with Year 1 (Roberts) is going very well and we are combining child led initiatives with more formal school topics.
Long may the weather hold.
